“Yuvti” by Bhupendra wants the Indian Culture to roar among the Western Styles
We are into the 21st Century and the times are such that we are forgetting the pure Indian Culture and Ethnic Heritage which was once the backbone of India resembling Traditional Styles as a way to compete with the Western Styles. To not let the backbone crack from anywhere, Bhupendra Singh, an MBA grad from Jaipur, wanted to revive Indian Tradition through his brand called “Yuvti”. He started this venture in 2013 as a designer apparel brand offering authentic traditions sewed with a touch of modernity.
Indian women have always been the powerhouse of Indian Traditions and always have proved themselves to be strong and skilled. Talking about the Rajputs, they have always been at the forefront in bringing out the glory of India through fashion statements and also through their brave acts. “We wanted to carry the Rajputani traditions throughout India with a touch of modernity and want to show the world that India is not behind at all and always comes up with something new and surprising. Yuvti was founded on this very idea”, quoted Bhupendra Singh.
Some of their offerings include Rajputi Suits, Rajputi Poshaks, Cotton Suits, Designer Sarees, Printed and Hand Printed Sarees etc. The raw materials used are also of the best quality, which include cotton, georgette, chiffon, and others. The craftsmanship that goes into creating magnificent pieces is performed by artisans most skilled in zardozi, salma, dabki, and several more elegant designs. Yuvti is also a home to the elderly karigars to utilize their art and craft.
“Our bigger motto is to let women come at the forefront and utilize their talent in embroidery, dyeing, designing and others to let people know that women are not just confined to cooking and raising babies”, Bhupendra says. This thought has affected so many that now Indian celebrities like Manushi Chhillar, Shirley Setia, Bhuvneshwari Kumari, Helly Shah, and several others have collaborated with Yuvti to support the cause. To get in touch with Yuvti and to order from them, you can check their website and Instagram, Facebook & YouTube as well.
