Chef Anuj Sarkar is a renowned chef and prestigious Global Prime Time Award Winner,2023 who completed Hospitality & Hotel Administration specialisation at IHM Guwahati in 2007. He is globally recognised for his work and is currently working in Nemo Turkey as a Head Chef.
He is exhibiting the best of his ideas, skills and culinary experience to the restaurant which is one of the leading restaurants of Turkey also featured by the country’s tourist department.
Being a proactive learner throughout his journey, he relied on his creative ingenuity and meticulously played with blend of spices. Chef Anuj Sarkar has comprehensive knowledge of the balance of taste and perfection. He honed his culinary skills and techniques by working as Chef de Partie for Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai from 2007-2012 and as Demi Chef de Partie at Fairmont Hotel, Jaipur from 2011-2012.
He has also worked as sous chef and head chef with Rixos Premium Dubai, Ritz Carlton, Dubai and Rixos, The Lands of Legend SWOT Hospitality. He has left no stone unturned in exhibiting his unwavering passion for cooking and is training executive chefs to the best of his abilities. He believes in imparting his culinary wisdom and encourages the youth to dare to create a unique style and discover their deep rooted talent and innate cooking skills.
Chef Anuj believes in top notch quality ingredients creating freshly blend of spices and use of fresh farm produce to create masterpieces. He emphasises on freshness and quality to elevate the flavours of dishes. Even after achieving so much in life, he is known for his humbleness and his willingness to offer help to budding chefs.
He is also known for actively participating in philanthropic activities fulfilling his social responsibilities.A chef of international stature, his contributions extend beyond gastronomy. These qualities set him apart and make him an ideal of how a person should be.
He has set the standards of Indian modern cuisine high globally and also specialises in Eurasian, Mexican, Peruvian and Argentinian cuisine. He dreams of opening his own restaurant and is working towards it at a great pace.
